I want to write a monologue about someone who is an outcast that been though a lot in his life but decide to stand strong.

The problem is that I'm not really a good writer nor I consider myself smart. I am hoping to someday go back to some adult education school to improve on those skills.

Please let me know if there's some examples that could explain how to write a monologue as well as books/movies to get some ideas of what I want to write. Thanks!

Learn the difference between a monologue and a soliloquy. For a true monologue, another character must be present to hear the speech. If not, it's a soliloquy.

Read more on that site about monologues and how to write them. Samples are at the end of the article.
