It is about time Kim was wacked up the side of the head

North Korea launches missile over Japan (http://www.news.com.au/world/asia/north-korea-fires-another-missile/news-story/c918ce7d1547f0159b7b2a4e3fe15fb2)

I've had enough, and I'm sure others have had enough, of this bully boy tantrum tactics. Does this fellow have a death wish?

Well you could tell your polly's to talk to China about deterring this fool. They should listen because they need your dirt.

Our politicians are vocal about chinese intervention. If they don't listen to you who are their greatest market, why would they listen to us

Yes Tal I guess I do, all that is going to happen is more talk instead of doing something practical like bombing NK with food parcels, kill 'em with kindness. What would happen if the NK population actually got their hands on 22 million Big Mac's and heaven only knows the US has had their fill of them, yes, B52 using loaves of bread to carpet bomb them, now there is a radical concept

Well actually all our strategic bombers are in mothballs, or did we sell them to Indonesia? Can't remember. I expect we will have to rent some more ancient aircraft from you, so how about you do it and we pay the bill? Should be able to get the job done for $50 million, not even the price of an F35

Mac's has a special on burgers, this week. Actually our special is live cattle and sheep exports, a make your own burger deal

hard decisions have to me made .....accept the NORKS as a nuclear power with all the unintended consequences that implies ;or regime change . I don't see a third way.

or AKs

TRADE WAR! That's the third option, and I doubt NK goes for big macs and cold fries, but you never know. The only regime change ha to come from China, or US. I don't think Japan can handle to many more sirens going off every time NK fires a missile over their heads.

Not particularly concerned about Japanese hie-be-jebies, they gave the rest of us plenty in the past, so they should come to know what it was like in back then. Certainly not going to war to stop paranoia. How can you have a trade war with a nation with no trade, Isn't that what the sanctions are? You are not going to have a trade war with China, the impact on your economy would be too great, we are not going to have a trade war with China, although we could survive it, but we are not going to ruin our economy because some girlie man in Washington wet his pants or some big mouth ego can't try diplomacy.

No one said anything about fries, they are closer to real food, but the delacicy of the Big Mac, instant conversion to capitalism and meat eating, of course they just might throw up after a meal of chew and spew

Then you better relax until he screws up. Or more nations decide to get in China's a$$ about their pet. The Japanese know first hand about the devastation of Atomic weapons, and also the folly of sneak attacking others. Save your money Clete because whatever kind of war this fool leads us into, you may have to invest in more than big macs, and rent more than bombers.

Maybe you should get a Chinese flag so Kim won't mistake you for one of our allies.

I don't think he is under any misconception, no, we will keep our battle flag and fight under the southern cross as we have done for a century. Not worried about Kim, anything he can reach is sparcely populated and I don't think he could hit the broad side of a barn with a shotgun and in any case Indonesia and the Philippines would have to watch out for misfires. I still think we should kill him with kindness

When did you eat roo? BBQ as the abo's do isn't that good, all burnt and charcoal, and we don't slap prawns on the barbie, that ruins them. Look we can let them have a million camels real cheap and we have lots of salties they can have, and buffalos too. perhaps they have a taste for cane toad, we have a billion of those going cheap, all you have to do is catch them

To start with we should organize exiled Norks into political opposition and form a NORK government in exile ready to assume control after Kim's unfortunate demise. At very least this government in exile should be given all the means to communicate with the people of the North ......ie sat phone drops, wifi satellites deployed over the peninsula .Give them the new iphone 8 .I hear they are a flop anyway.

The biggest fear the Chinese would have is Iraq like chaos . So the Chinese have to be part of the plan. That means that there should be a guarantee of no attempts of reunification as long as US troops are stationed in the South .Negotiations for reunification could be done with the new government . But final reunification would be contingent on US withdrawal.

I heard they'll eat grass before they give up their nukes, Clete, so you have many options to market your cuisine, or invite Kim to an Australian Cane Toad Hunt. Now that would be kind of you and you can kill him in the process. Now stop being obstinate and get the care package ready.

A few days in your outback would certainly win him over. Meanwhile Tom can be raising an Army from the NK dissidents but I have to say that filling the NK's with Australian food would be faster and more effective.

I really like the cane toad idea because those toads are Un Australian and should fit right in with Kim. They are resiliant little buggers and so would survive being carpet bombed from a B52, It is a real military option and should be considered by the pentagon now that they will get the lead chair. You should be aware that NK already eat grass and our plush lawns are at risk.

Yes bringing Kim to the outback would show him what his country might look like after a war but then they already have local examples. I don't know why you recycle these old ideas, Tom, they didn't serve you well in Iraq. Dissidents just tell you what you want to hear, NK sucks, well we know that. I can't wait to see Kim decide he wants a cane toad equilivant

I think we see the result of handing over power to tribal leaders, without Saddam the Iraqi weren't going to put up with more Sunni and Baathist oppression, and the Shiite quickly showed us they have long memories. When you say stick to the plan, who's plan? Bush had his own agenda, revenge for daddy
