Elderly lady has cataracts. She would take the regular lens.
I see a lot of complaints about Lasik eye surgery. But was also told
That cataract surgery is totally different from Lasik surgery. The latter is for farsightness and other corrective conditions.

Any opinions

There are also differences in types of cataract surgery.
Advances are made constantly.
It's best to research cataract surgery and leave Lasik out of it - you are right, very different.
Then she needs to find out what doctors around her prefer to use.
There is also an option (which I don't think is covered by any insurance) for a corrective lens to be inserted for those who wore glasses.

In other words, too much to write here, when it's already written in detail on various other sites.

Thanks Joy. The basic lens are being paid by Medicare. The eye institute has a good track record.
