With me and my girlfriend, we are a young couple we go to school together and try to hangout at least once on the weekends, We've been in a relationship almost 6 months, and she said a few days ago " we need a break forawhile i just need to think" not sure what a break is I agreed to this unwillingly. She said the reason is I'm not 100% sweet and sincere around her, I treat her like one of the guys, making jokes I guess that she doesn't find funny especially when they are aimed towards her. It's been about a week, and as I ask and try to talk to her, it's as if she is putting me to the side now I don't know if she is playing hard to get or if she really has no feelings for me anymore, she did say the break would be temporary. How can I get this girl back, without directly asking, any ideas or opinions? I'm just so confused and I'm trying to work on fixing this relationship but it seems like all the work is one sided, she even agreed to a lunch date to talk things over, but the following day cancelled. I really need help... :(

I treat her well on a daily basis, and I try to talk to her and say sorry but she's either "toobusy" to talk or it's not the right place or time...

Well you got to tell her.. I mean just basically not really force but say it would mean a lot.. and if she doesn't well.. maybe you two should split.. cause this is bothering you I am guessing? And she doesn't get it yet.. maybe she will after wards.

I don't know she's nice but I think she's stubborn she just gives me petty excuses when I try to talk to her, or hangout and ontop of that recently she added that I hangout with too many other girls that's another reason for the break... I just can't seem to grasp this concept of love...

Is this your first love? Cause it can be very difficult.. It might hurt for a while... but something has to be done.. either break up or try your very best to fix it but if she just puts it down.. its time to split up.. and you never know.. you could always get back together.. its not the end of the world... I hope you the best I got to go..

Definitely is my first love, such a strong attraction when this relationship was at it's prime, I really want to make it work, but the thought of her with someone else hurts baddd, I almost broke down in tears the other night after this party luckily she said nothing happened, I just need a new game plan, a new way to approach her to get this relationship on the ball again, without seeming like a love sick pest.
