My f250 won't key start. Will start by jumping the solinoid

Bad ignition switch, neutral safety switch (or clutch pedal safety), loose wire. On my Frontier, the small plastic plug broke and fell out of the clutch pedal. Look and see if the switch is being depressed if a stick shift.
