Morning all
I need help with the name of a horror movie ( couple of them ) that I seen when I was a young girl https://www.facebook.com/images/emoji.php/v8/f8d/1/16/1f467.png👧 ( age 6 to 9 )
Dad used to wake me up for the late night horror and my addition to these cult movies started
Think they are Late 60's / 70's movies genre could be early 80's ( before 1982 )
First movie: someone buys what looks like a totem / easter head pole statue / Voodoo Doll type Statue ( small enough to sit on desk as an ornament )... from memory it had been stabbed a few times with many objects
In the part I remember... the person who bought it either got angry about something or had a fight with a group of his friends or fight with the girlfriend ( can't remember ) and took out a large butcher knife and stabbed a photo ( once ) with his friends in it including himself and then stabbed it back into this totum pole / easter head / Voodoo Doll Statue... then the killing begins where the first person stabbed in the picture is first one dead followed in order by person sitting next to them... ( think there was like 5 or 6 people in picture ) and as the killings happen by " mysterious circumstances " of this evil totum / easter head / voodoo doll statue... the last two in the picture ( who are about to die as well ) work out what's going on and who's next to die... ( can't remember if anyone survived last man standing being the person who stabbed the picture with the knife before plunging it into this little statue
Second movie:
A husband is kidnapped by some people and kept in a room of some sort whereby you close the door and it has a one way lock function computer lights and all on the hinges.. once this door shuts... no escape from the room you are locked in... this guy is either mentally tormented via a window of his kidnappers unfed going to stave cause these doors won't ever open again etc
Towards the end.. his wife somehow discovers his whereabouts and manages to rescue him by killing these men in the room and somehow breaking down the door with this special kind of lock on the hinges and they escape back to their home laughing and happy and embracing and unfortunately the kitchen or room they enter closes the door on them revealing that these kidnappers had been to their house and installed these one way locks in the room of this couples house unbeknownst to them and they don't realise they've been locked in their house and in this room forever as the men they killed had the device to open and unlock the door but now they were dead with their device and the couple were trapped for life to die a slow death in their own home
