Do you mean 1040? Did you file a return yet?

If you DO mean a Form 1040 that you have filed electronically, it will be ablut a week before you can check the status on the "Where's My refund?" app on the IRS website.

The IRS has announced a slower refund time this year, but filing sooner does help.
They may even be asking a question of filers to help prove they are not stealing an identity.
