I had an unprotected (that was an accident, condom broke in the middle) sex three days ago, which was two days after my period ended. . But my boyfriend finished outside. He took it out just before the end. Is there anything I should be worried about? I mean, my period ended only two days before we had sex. Please advise!

ANYTIME there is penile insertion there is a risk of pregnancy. You can reduce the risks, but not eliminate them. Given the circumstances, it would seem unlikely that you would conceive, but nothing is impossible.

As Scott gem said, there's a slight chance. Much will depend on when you happen to ovulate. While some forms of emergency contraception can have some effectiveness at this point, they offer the greatest effectiveness within a day or two after the unprotected sex. You always contact your doctor or pharmacist for additional information .

See what happens when you would expect your next period. Consider an additional form of contraception, along with the use of condoms, for added protection .

Since condoms have a 3 to 18 percent change of failure, (many never noticed) even sex with a condom allows a chance of pregnancy. Women on the pill, using condoms get pregnant at times.

So while the chance is low, yes there is a chance

There is only three things to be worried about:
1) pregnancy
2). Giving an STI
3). Getting an STI

There is sperm in pre-ejaculate. While the typical ovulation date is about mid cycle, it is has been seen for a woman to ovulate at ANY point in her cycle. At the beginning, middle, or end. As well Sperm can stay alive a few days in your reproductive tract.

So there is a window of several days where you could have an egg fertilized if your ovulate. So there is a small chance of pregnancy, which is hard to quantify. Chances are you won't become pregnant, but there is a small chance you could. Sadly you'll have to wait until you miss your next period to know for sure.

The second and third thing you should be worried about is Sexually Transmitted Infections. Broken condom will allow all those wonderfully viruses and bacteria into your reproductive tract. If you're not Certain that your Partner is clean, I would suggest you both get tested.

Good Luck.
