I have question , I have crfatsmen cordless tools, both batteries are dead. Is it really worth buying new batteries or should just buy a new set? The set I have now works perfectly. I only use the tools for home projects. I would hate to waste the tools I have now , since they work fine. Any suggestions? I saw I sale at sears for (2) 19.2 lithium for $60.. I am not sure if they would be able to use the charger I have now and fit my tools . There are the same... 19.2 craftsmen.

This site seems to be able to tell you if the battery will fit your tool or not.

Depends on how much a new set of tools is. Here in Canada it's cheaper just to buy a new set of tools (depending on the tools) if the battery is no longer holding a charge. But, if you can get a battery for a good price, that will work with your tools, I'd say get it.
