Question about pregnancy.. since August (6th and 8th)i have been having unprotected sex. My cycle is usually 30 days & I ovulate around the 10th of every month. Got my period August 25 for 5 days. September 5th I had sex and Sept 24. Period came Sept 25 for 4 days. October I had sex on the 12th, ovulated on the 10th. My period came on the 25th but it only lasted 1 day. About 2 weeks prior to my "1 day period", my boobs were hurting really bad & was cramping And nauseas. I had sex again the 30th & now I'm cramping again. It's the 31st of October. (Sorry for all the back story)

I'm wondering the possibility of a pregnancy & how would I know? (Using withdrawal, no because pills) just want to look for warning signs , and how come my period was only a day. Is something wrong? Why am I cramping?

First withdrawal really does not work, so you are just having sex and lowing the amount of sperm. So there are lots of chances of pregnancy from that.

If over 2 weeks late, take a HPT and find out. Test first thing in the morning with first urine of the day. The "signs" can mean so many things, or nothing at all, so that is not a way to know.

The fluid that makes his penis moist enough to enter you is full of sperm. So the withdrawl method is otherwise known as trying to conceive.

How are you tracking ovulation? If it's with an app, then you really have no idea when you're ovulating. The only reliable way to track ovulation is by taking your basal temperature every day for 6 months and tracking your actual ovulation. Apps are a best guess, and not at all accurate.

A one day period could be just an off period, or it could be a pregnancy. Try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If it's negative then wait a week and test again. If that test is also negative then wait for your next period, if you miss it, test again or see your doctor for a more accurate blood test.

Just so you know how inaffective the withdrawl method is. I personally know people that use three forms of brith control (the pill, a condom, and pulling out) and still got pregnant. I have one friend that has polycystic ovarian disease, one ovary, was on the pill, used a condom, and was told that she'd never have kids, and ended up having three kids when the doctor told her the first and second were miracles.

If you don't want a baby the only 100% way to assure you don't get pregnant is not to have sex. If you want to lower the odds then use the birth control pill and a condom. If you want to start a family now, continue using the withdrawl method.

Good luck.
