I get constant headaches and migraines and the doctor told me to stop eating chocolate, cheese and stop drinking coffee and red wine. Problem is I can't do it.
I need the coffee to try and stay awake, I love the wine (I've tried replacing it with other alcoholic drinks but it's just not the same) And as for chocolate I haven't managed to not go one day in years. When I try to give them up I think about them constantly and nothing else is as good. I just don't know where to start.
I know these are trivial things but for me they are really hard to give up - they are pretty much my favourite things -part of who I am.
I hope someone can help!

No they are not part of who you are, your body is addicted to the effects these have on you.
It sounds like you need to redue your entire diet to cleanse it. And do perhaps some other activities. Perhaps using a nutritionist who can work with you. Also of course your body once it is cleaned out does not need coffee to stay awake.
Exercise perhaps in the morning wll get your body full of energy and ready for the day, as will a good shower.
So you find new things you like better, fruit, and other items.

Hello I have the same issue and turned out I am lactose intolerant.
Cut out one item at a time for say 2 - 4 weeks that way you can identify which one is the cause and only lose that one.
I adore cheese and still participate in it as I just love it I just ensure that I have no where to be the next day and have the nurofen handy lol!
Good luck it really sucks but when you find out which one it is that is affecting you , you will feel a lot better.
