I have a2003 Honda element,last week after a heavy rain storm the car is a mess,
The abs light is stuck on and the battery won't hold a charge,we changed the battery and a few fuses and it ran for to days but again battery drained and dead,abs light on,brake light on service engine light on brake light on brake lights not working,we even cleaned alternator checked fuses but battery won't hold charge

You probably got water in the electrical control circuit, fuse box or relay system. The battery is discharging due to a short. Difficult to pinpoint what exactly is wrong. I would pull every fuse and relay, use compressed air to blow the connectors and make sure no water is present.

Since your dash board lights up like a Christmas tree, I suspect the alternator is bad. Most auto parts stores will check them for free. It's very possible the brushes in the alternator have worn down too far.

After installing a new alternator, clean both ends of the "B" wire, running from the alternator to the battery (or mega fuse), with abrasive cloth and apply dielectric grease. Be sure to fully charge your battery first or you could burn out the new alternator. Alternators are battery maintainers, not battery chargers.
