we are requested to install a motor to drive a Hydro Titan brand pump with a size of 125x80x400 on its nameplate.however there are some issues regarding a 15kw motor previously installed and eventually getting burnt. We are trying to verify the correct motor size to drive the pump given it suction diameter being 125mm and discharge diameter being 80mm with an effective head of 25m.

Verification of recommended motor size for pumps is done through the pump manufacturer.
