Hi,
I would like to know what is the force applied by person 1;
Below is my experiment,

Person 2 sitting on a Wheel Chair, Person 1 Pushes the chair. So force required to push the chair with Acceleration 1m/s^2 is (Mass of the person 1 + Mass of the Chair). Consider the friction is negligible.

Consider now Person 1 is not pushing the chair,
Now there is a object of MASS X placed parallel to the chair, which person 2 can provide his force to object but he is not moving the object.

Now Person 1 Try to push the Chair, now does the person 1 see the object as friction force or since Person 2 is providing force. The person 1 would not see the object as friction.

Wait, the question is a bit vague. Do You want to know the TYPE of force the person 1 EXPERIENCES?

What do you think it is and how would you calculate it. Site rules PROHIBIT us from handing out answers to homework, and this is homework.
