180 yr. Old house. 2.5 stories. 2 gas furnaces. One in attic has central air... basement furnace not attached to duct work for central air. What is the easiest way to do this?

Contact an HVAC contractor to do an inspection. Not easy to do on your own as everything must be sized, air handler, ductwork, returns etc.
