Dr. Bill,

Like other users on this board I am in an abstinence program. I went out town On Tuesday and drank about 13 drinks over a 7 hrs tim fame, finishing up at around midnight or 1 am. I weigh 185 lbs very fit and haven't drank in a year. My liver function is/was good last time it was checked. I may have to be test Friday around 3 pm. In your opinion or experience do believe I my pass the test? I have been hydrating myself an will continue to do so.

I made that mistake an now I'm worried.

Dr. Bill has left this site. Hydrating may cause a fail for dilution.

The maker claims an 80 hour window for detection. You were drinking in the wee hours of Wednesday so you are about 60 hours away from your last drink.

Ok, my bad. I went out of town on the Monday. I drank until about 1 am Tuesday. I calculated I was likely sober around Noon Tuesday. That should give me 72 hours till Friday at noon. Plus 3 hours so 75 hours. I am cutting very close.

That's some pretty heavy drinking, those numbers are for non-alcoholics and light drinking, Alcoholics need longer... and heavy drinking needs longer.

You are going to need a lot of luck on your side...

I'd also consider looking into AA or some other program... its clear this one isn't working very well. Some work better than others for different people. But they all require you taking them serious for them to work.

I haven't drank in 18 months, so I think I am okay that way. The test results I found suggest I am likely to pass. Your right though, that was some heavy unnecessary drinking. I used to drink a lot more than that a couple years ago.

Yes you are, but why worry after the deed is done? Too much water is as bad as drinking a pint before a test, you fail, and dilution failures always brings suspicions of bad behavior to PO's and judges, like you are covering up something, which you are.

You may as well relax and wait and see, because no telling which way you will fail.
