I went with another propane company because the price was much less expensive and asked them to pick up their tank, The first it would be in a week, then May 14 and I called again (3x's) and they said today... no show. What can I do? I now have 2 200 gal tanks on my property... one that is hooked up with the new company and 1free standing. What legal action can I take in order for them to pick up their tank?

I don't know about your state but in mine they sometimes just use the tank that is already there. Check with your new Dealer and see what they want to do. It could be unnecessary to change tanks unless you are going to 1 tank as opposed to 2 tanks.

If it really needs to be removed, contact them, write them that you are going to empty the tank, remove the valve and call a junk dealer to come pick it up for scrap. That is what I would do..

Legal action? Seriously? Don't tie up the already bogged down court system with something this frivolous.

Call the company daily, if you have to, until they pick up the tank. Yes, it's an inconvenience, but you don't have an actionable event.

As caton said, you give them a deadline by when the tank needs to be removed otherwise you will sell it for scrap. But I can't see that you have suffered any loss to be recovered by legal action.

Didn't they say May 14? You don't even say when you first notified them. I don't get all the worry.
