You'd be shocked at how many women, just on this site, that got pregnant while on the pill, using a condom, and a third form of birth control, and pulled out! The only way to avoid pregnancy 100% is to not have sex. Any time you have sex, especially when you're not careful with your birth control, you risk pregnancy.

Have to add. It takes time for the pill to work once you start taking it. Doctors recommend you use another form of birth control for at least a month when you start the pill. You were on day 3 of the pill, so that increases the risk of pregnancy even more.

You can use some regular birth control pills as emergency contraception, but the dose depends on the type of pill. While you may possible get some effectiveness from the sort you used, the dosage would need to have been different for greater effect. Always wise to check with your doctor for correct dosage needed.

Even with any birth control pregnancy can be possible, so now you will have to wait and see.
