I recently had a water connector to a pedestal sink blow out and I need to replace it. It is the type of connection that is exposed to view and is ornamental. The valve is antique, polished brass with connections that are adjustable. It is 1/2 od connections. Any thoughts as to where this type of connector can be purchased?

First of all I need to know what part you're trying to replace. The angle stop?
The supply tube? Next, 1/2" OD = 3/8" ID Most lavatories are supplied with 1/4" Id supplie. Please check again and give me the ID size of the suppies. And just what do you mean by,"The valve is antique, polished brass with connections that are adjustable." What's "adjustable" on the angle stop? I need more details. Regards, Tom

Dear Tom(speedball1)
Thanks so much for your reply. It is the supply tube that is ruined and needs to be replaced. It is polished brass and flexible. It is 1/2" od and 3/8" id. I would like to replace it with a supply tube that is more foolproof than the one that is ruined.
I will try to attaché photos which might help. Again thanks so much for your help.

Tom, it appears that I cannot send the photos. If you have an email address, I could send it to you there. Thanks.

Most supply tubes are fool proof if they're installed correctly. Do you want me to loicate another supply the same as the one you have now or do you wish to replace with metal braided supplies? My addy's;
[email protected] Head it PLUMBING so it will pass the filter. Cheers, Tom
