I am looking into a 1978 artcraft mobile home in T R C New Mexico. It has it's own lot. 1st thing to notice is the skirting and repairs to the stairs and ramp. It's a 2bd 1bth single wide. I would love to buy this because it an idea location near the Vets hospital. This home was used seasonally in winter by the 1st owner. It's been on the market for quite a while. What should I be looking for when I first view it with the real estate agent. And is there a chance I can make a lower offer?

Just for starters, you can always put in an offer after you have seen the place. I am not sure about where you live but many states have a disclosure statement that you must disclose any and all problems with the place when you contract to sell.
