Recently made the mistake to drink on probation. If I had 17 drinks(at most) on a Wednesday from 2:00PM to 10PM, will it be out of my system by the following Monday at 3pm. I drank probably about 13 beers(at most) with 2 mixed drinks and a shot. I am a Male,25, played hockey once and ran about 4 miles between the last drink and test time. Water consumption was normal. I calculated the time from the last drink to the test to be over 96 hours, but that does not start when BAC is at 0.

Dr. Bill hasn't been here for a number of years...

17 drinks is a pretty serious bout of really heavy drinking... people that drink that much have a history of heavy drinking and impaired ability to metabolize the alcohol due to the damage to the liver..

Meaning that 80 hour generalization doesn't apply. Nobody can say for certain if you will pass or fail.

Part of the issue, is how long before, did you not drink. If you had not drinking for a year or two, then there is no build up left.

It is possible that you could fail, but in general it is much more likely that you will pass.

I am not a typical drinker. That is the first time drinking over 5 beers in nearly a year. I haven't had a sip of alcohol prior to this in 3 or 4 weeks probably. This just happened to be a special occasion wedding.

I had a red bull and close to 40 oz of water the day I tested, and it came out relatively clear. I also peed 3 or 4 times prior to testing that day. I am not worried about a dilute because there was still decent coloring and the guy said I would be fine, I would really have had to try hard to dilute. Would this help my chances?

Likely you should be okay, but only a psychic can say for sure, so since the deed and the tests are a done deal, you may as well relax and wait for the results to be made known. The real question to answer is really was the special occasion worth the stress you are putting yourself through? I have no doubt you have learned your lesson THIS time, but that's only good until the next SPECIAL occasion.

Coloring has nothing to do with dilution.
It has to do with the chemical makeup of the urine and that is what it is... and can't be hidden or manipulated. Dilution will screw that up and when they detect it.. its an automatic fail.
