There is a mathematical relation used for calculation of the rate of increase/population growth (r) of species.

It's as follow:

Nt:N0e to the power rt

Can someone give me an answer including numbers?

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean this:

N(t) = N_0 e^{rt}

This means that that the population N as function of time grows exponentially, with initial population = N_0. The factor "r" is a constant that controls how quickly the population grows - for larger values of 'r' the function N(t) grows faster. Hope this helps, but if you have a specific question please ask.

Some geek has already worked out the formula/equation, all you have to do is plug in your own known values to solve it, and get your own answers. The answer will vary depending on what values you plug in.

It's the exercise of SOLVING the equation that makes the relationship of the known factor(s) clear.
