How do I write a company profile for my startup? What should it include? Should it be brief or descriptive?

If this is for the general public online, my suggestion is to have tabs, with the first 'HOME' tab one sentence describing who you are, a logo, and your location, contact info, and a map, if that's important, and the 'OUR PRODUCT' (or service, etc) tab a full screen.
Look at competitor sites to see what they do that appears helpful and attractive.
