Hello all
After 30 years in our home we are updating our main bathroom. We are doing the work through Lowe's and as such need to buy through them or they won't install/warranty the job (actually said they won't install someone else's fixture period). I really wanted a Toto Drake but I would have to pay more for it and again I wanted the whole job done by them and guaranteed. Soooo-not getting a Drake - my next choices (at Lowes) have been between AS Champion 4, AS Cadet 3, or Kohler Kelston. I've not seen a lot of reviews on the Kelston but those I did see were a lot better than the Cimarron. So that being said , out of those three what would you recommend and why?
Thanks again

Cadet 3 is a very good toilet, I have installed a number of them. The new one 1.28 has good reviews, the 1.6, if you can still find, is better in my opinion. Get the elongated, comfort height, you will love the sitting! Champion doesn't rate as high.

Thanks any experience with the kelston?

I would say, to forget Lowe's, and buy and get the toilet you want. If you use it for the next 20 years, you will sit on it, and wish you had the one you really wanted.

There are 1000's of people, who can install one. Heck anyone can pop a old toilet out and sit a new one in place. Watch YouTube and you will see videos to do it yourself. So if you just must have Lowe's do the job (no idea why you want to pay all that extra cost to have them do it) have them do everything but the toilet, and then get the toilet you want.

TOTO and KOHLER are the two choices I would recommend. These days, TOTO is considered to be the most dependable toilet on market. On the other hand, KOHLER has been around for many years with excellent track record. Choice is yours.

Let Lowe's do everything but the toilet, and then get the one you want.
