I don't know if I seem dumb asking this question but on the Official Minecraft site, when I buy it, will I be able to download and play just as if I had a CD? I really cant wait to get it but its currently unavailable on Amazon.com, where I usually shop. By the way I mean Minecraft for PC. :)

If it says it on the official site that it is available for download then it should be ready for you as soon as confirmation of the sale takes place.

Minecraft has pretty always been a downloaded game. I'd worry more about the CD version. Don't buy it from Amazon, get it only from https://minecraft.net/
