My fiance is now in a halfway house because he had no physical address to go to except mine upon his release from prison. His case manager never even put in for the relocation while he was still incarcerated and never said that he didn't until it was too late. He did not want to stay with family members due to all being drug addicted. He now does not wish to stay at the halfway house because he says it is so much like still being in prison so he has decided to move with family as a last result. I know a home inspection will be done but what I would like to know is, will the family members be drug tested in order for him to be able to reside there and what are his chances of being relocated once we are married? He will already have a job here, support, and a place to live. I do own my own home. I know this is more than a question but I would really like to get him out of the environment he is in asap. Any help is greatly appreciated!

While they do not drug test people living at his residence, they will do random visits (searches) and of course if it is obvious that people there are using, they will just violate him for living with people using drugs.

Also if they find drugs there, he will be changed with new drug charges also.
