I have a tankless hot water heater. It is about 15 yrs old but it's clean, no corrosion and it heats up well.

2 weeks ago we had no hot water, due to minerals blocking the water passages. Took the water heater valve housing apart and cleaned it out.

We have hot water but it takes way too long to circulate throughout the house. Please help

Did you flush the system with vinegar or what to clean it. Is the volume down when you turn on just a hot faucet?

Tankless hot water heater has to be flushed - not only water valve housing - about once a year with a solution that removes calcium deposits from inside of its tubing. If not clean, water tubing get enclosed with sediment, allowing only small amount of water through. That may be your problem.

I suggest you have it flushed and cleaned with decalcifying solution. Call certified serviceman to do it for you. Watch him what he is doing so you can do it yourself next year

One more detail: When you cleaned your "water heater valve" - did you unplug the heater ? Do you have a temperature control pad to set temperature ? If unplugged, the preset temperature will automatically resets to the smallest temperature setting, which is - depending on the brand of the heater - from 90F to 108F, when you unplug the heater. And that is not hot enough, especially during winter months

Hope that helps
