View Full Version : Lennox gas fireplace parts supplier and/or parts numbers?

I have a 15 year old Lennox gas fireplace that needs a couple of parts that I cannot find even with Internet searches. It has a 24 v electronic controller and a 24 v wall switch; the gas flows but the unit does not automatically light. A tech manually lit the flame and the unit worked OK manually. He then removed a flame sensor and another similar part, both with ceramic bases that have broken. He took the parts with him and I have no part numbers. The fireplace is model EBSTNE, serial 6301F 01970. I know that Lennox closed down that business... was it acquired by someone else? Are there furnace parts that might solve my problem? If I cannot locate the parts, can I operate it manually like I do a wood-burning fireplace with a gas insert? (turn on gas manually, ignite manually, then turn off gas to shut down?) I have all the original documentation with wiring diagram but no part numbers. It has a "pilot burner ignitor-sensor assembly" where the 2 parts were removed. I think the 24 v "electronic ignition control board" is made by Johnson Controls.

If it was manually lit by the tech, do it that way. The gas valve is still functioning.

Unfortunately the tech took the parts with him so the part that tells the control module that a flame is burning is now missing; I'm guessing the control module would shut off the gas flow as a result. What's your opinion on that? Do you think the flame sensor might be available for a gas furnace that has a 24 v control module?

Thanks for your response!
