Hi, I have just done a clear blue test and it said 3+ weeks that means more than 5 weeks could I be farther than I through?

There can be a fairly wide range of normal hcg levels at any given week. Because if this, all you can really take from your results is that you are lmost likely to be more than 3 weeks pregnant. Accuracy of hcg levels on urine tests are not always as accurate as a blood test, so consider it mire if a guide.

It actually means 3 or more weeks. As Doula said, there is a wide fluctuation in urine testing. While a quantitative blood test is more accurate, an ultrasound is even better.

If paternity is in question, you will have to wait until the baby is born for a DNA test to be conducted.

When you get the ultrasounds you will figure out the due date, but the most they can narrow things down is a menstrual period. If this is a veiled paternity question, then you'll need to wait until a paternity test after birth.

The problem with the more complicated pregnancy tests that claim to be more accurate is that they work on a generalized curve. Which means that they're accurate for a good amount of the population, but not all. As well the hormone levels at that point in the pregnancy can fluctuate so the test might say 3+ weeks but it could be two or seven or what have you. It shouldn't be taken as anything more then positive or negative.
