I used the outdoor faucet a month ago to attach a hose and water the garden, with great pressure.
Today there is no water coming through whatsoever.

Other outdoor faucet on the other side of house is working perfect

Def not frozen pipes as in warm climate.

You have an obstruction in the faucet. The type of faucet is commonly called a hose bib.

There are two types of hose bibs.

The first is a regular hose bib that attaches to the pipe on the outside. This type turns the water off out side at the hose bib.
The second type is called a frost free hose bib. It attaches to the pipe on the inside of the house. This type turns the water off on the inside of the house to prevent freezing.

Leave the water on but have someone prepared to turn it off.

If you have the first type, unscrew the bonnet nut (that big nut around the stem). Then turn the handle just like you were opening the hose bib. After opening the handle pull the stem out of the body of the hose bib. Hopefully water will come rushing out and flush out the obstruction. Be prepared.

If you have the frost free type hose bib, do the same thing. Unscrew the bonnet nut, open the faucet and pull the stem out. If water does not come take something long and narrow, like a 10" piece of clothes hanger wire and poke it as far as you can. That should loosen the obstruction and hopefully it will be blown out.

If this does not work you may. and probably do, have stop valves in the line some where and the obstruction is there.
