Hello

Unfortunately smoking any weed I believe will leave traces of the compound in your hair at the point you smoked it.

I.E

You shave your head , then smoke weed everyday for a week afterwards , then go clean until your next hair cut , the tip of your hair will contain traces of the compound and you would fail ( the week you smoked right after your hair cut ) , though the rest of your hair would be fine , so if you trimmed off those tips ( a weeks worth of Hair or more , two weeks + would be best ) then your hair would most likely be free of the compound , so you would pass.

Also I wouldn't suggest trimming you hair to possibly remove these traces , as then they will suspect you had something to hide.

Hope this helps.

The test goes back 90 days so detection is a good possibility, but at what levels is unknown. What are the terms of your agreements to testing?

To quote mydogfifi, resident hair testing expert,
A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line, will go back 90 days. If you hair grows at the average 1/2 inch a month, unless the October usage was at Halloween, that should be grown out past the 1 1/2" sample they test, by Feb. 9th.

A couple episodes over a 3 month period would not constitute consistent use. I believe your chances of passing are pretty good. Of course cutoff level comes into play, but if it was just a few hits, a couple times, over the past three months, I wouldn't worry.

Thank you for your comment. Really make me feel better.
Yes, it was around a week before Halloween, and my hair grows pretty fast. At least average I guess.
When I smoked, it was 3-4 times hit one or twice in November.
I'm so worry about it...

Can I ask you one more thing? I will take a hair test at psychemedics..
I read some stuff that this place is more accurate than any other labs..
Do you think I need to worry about it?
I really appreciate for your reply.

Why worry after the deed is done and it's time to pay the piper? Worry before and think better of it.

As far as the accuracy goes, I doubt psychemadics is an more or less accurate than other labs. The thing you might want to be concerned with is the cut-off levels. The cut-off level is how low the lab will test down to. Most labs will do a THC screening test at 1.0 pg/mg with a confirmation cut-off level at .01pg/mg which is a pretty low level. BUT based on your description of the amount you used, I am going to guess that you should pass the test as you didn't do enough to show up on a hair drug test. Good luck.

It really depends on the length of your hair. The longer it is, the more they can go back.. If you intentionally shave your head, the will take from other areas, Ie; armpit, chest...
I would think that you won't pass a hair test , but that's just my guess. I hope you'll let us all know how it went :-)

All most all the hair testing I conduct is for only 1.5 inches, which is a 90 day history. If a company or individual wants to go back farther it will cost more for each 90 day segment, which can get expensive. In regards to body hair, the lab use to give it a 6-12 month time frame but they stopped doing that because a lot of people are shaving various part of the body which can screw the time frame. Now they don't put any time frame on body hair just simply "Body Hair" in the report notation. I am betting chloechoi77 will be negative.

Mydog - Wow that's interesting "1.5inch", I guess every lab does it diff. I just had a hair test done Dec. 2015 and my hair is down to the middle of my back, and they snipped it at the top, (didn't need root), and kept the "entire" length.. I watched them wrap it around something to keep it secure.. And no I don't work for the government, lol. So it's not like they were looking for anything/everything. I wish chloechoi77 the best and hope they pass!!

The collection company is supposed to cut the hair right at the scalp line and package it up "as is". Once the sample gets to the lab the lab sections it off in the first 1.5 inch segment. The collector never sections it, always and only the lab.
