I recently been hearing about people getting cheap tickets, flying out of Chicago to Dallas for $49 and Los Angelos $45.00
I started checking Southwest Airline and a ticket one way was $130 and coming back was $122.
How can I find cheap tickets?
Any tips will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I hear about people seeing bigfoot... but have never met one of them.
Most of these fares you "hear about" are extremely rare, in very specific situations and times... between locations few people fly or want to fly... or were purely because of errors in the listing that people got before it was discovered.
None of them let you go any where you want..any time you want..and they don't include all the other tack on fees, charges and taxes that go with every ticket today.

Most of these cheap fares often come from travel companies, and they show them as a promotion, and sell maybe 10 of them at that really low price and the rest still at a good price.
I just got a two week trip to Europe (From China) round trip airfare, 14 nights at hotels and 14 meals, for about 900 USD. Why because the packages were not sold and at the last couple weeks, the travel company sold them cheaper to at least meet costs.
So you sign up for emails deals from every travel company, every airline you can think of, and be willing to fly to anyplace with a deal, Most deals will not be to exactly where you may want, when you want.

Hello
Yes I've heard of the same cheap tickets / flights over here. They are most of the time one day specials with conditions I.E carry on bag only , student flights , have to leave the same day etc.
They are rare though do happen and yes you need to be on the look out for them with one of the Airline sites.
Hope this helps.
