I would like to hear some pros and cons on Goodman versus Rheem. I am currently using a 2 1/2 ton Goodman package unit heat pump to heat and cool my house here in central SC. But it is an older Seer 10 model and I would like to replace it with a Seer 13. The price of the Goodman and Rheem units are almost identical. Any comments on which would be the best?

Actually the units are a very good match when it comes to quality. Your best equiptment is installed by the best installer. The install is much more of a concern that the brand any day.
