We are freshening our kitchen, looking for advice on colors. The kitchen is small with one half window and about a 5 ft. opening for door so it does not get a lot of light. Cabinets are currently white with blue denim color laminate countertop and white appliances. The adjoining kitchen dining area has a white background wallpaper with a busy red/gold/blue fruit pattern; this adjoins to another dining room which is painted cranberry. I cannot repaint all of this at one time, so looking for a color for the one wall in the kitchen - this wall is about 8 ft. long and highly visible. I have found a Sherwin Williams color, Rare Gray which I like for the cabinets. We are putting travertine on the counter top which is a creamy background with veins of neutrals and gray. The floor tile is similar. The backsplash is the glass mosaic tiles which are grays, blues, tan. I know this is a lot of information, but I am so confused by all of the colors. They do have consultants at our home improvement store but only during regular working hours-Due to death in family I cannot take time off right now. Thank you in advance for ideas.

Most kitchens or even rooms should have a max of 3 colours or you can run into clashing colours.

You talked about a " white background wallpaper with a busy red/gold/blue fruit pattern " plus the other dinning area you said was " cranberry " .

So you could go with red again to tie them all together.

Do you have a picture of what the kitchen looks like now , might be easier to give you ideas with one.
