I am the landlord and agreed to add an early termination clause if the lessee's purchase a home. I can't find this language anywhere. 20 years ago I was a property administrator and we had an addendum added that had this language. Anyone have that language?

I am not knowledgeable in this subject (legally) but I have to ask this question.
Why would you want to include such language in a lease. Logically, if you sell the property to the lessee, the lessee would then be his or her own landlord.
Why bother?

It is unclear what you mean. Do you mean they can terminate your lease with them if they purchase a different home or yours?

Keep it simple.
Tenant may terminate this lease prior to expiration with 2 months notice, in writing, if they have gone to contract on the purchase of a home. Proof of contract must be submitted with the 2 Month notice.

Is this for someone in lease who wants to buy the same house? Your question is a bit vague-what house?

I assumed it was for purchase of a different property. An early termination clause wouldn't make sense if they were looking to buy the same property.
