I was on birth control for over 10 years. I recently got married and stopped taking the pill. I did not complete my pack, just stopped on November 29. I had a short cycle/bleeding less than a week coming off the pill and I have not had one since. I have an app that is telling me I am 11 days late. Do you think my body is just trying to regulate after being on the pill so long? I have taken one HPT and went to the Dr. and they did a pregnancy test as well and all was negative. If you could let me know your thoughts, that would be great!

It will take two months or so for your body to regulate and get back to a normal cycle.
While pregnancy is possible, even on birth control, a healthy couple can go a year or more even if they are tracking ovulation.

Why thoughts, in regards to this issue, is what you had suggested. You're body is trying to adjust to regulating it's cycle again. I don't think you're pregnant, though if you stopped before your body would normally ovulate, you could still ovulate. Consider the other actions of the hormonal birth control pill, it would be even odds.
Take it easy and allow your body to get back on its own schedule. If you get pregnant then happy times. If not, your period will come back on its own.

First any "app" is just guess work based on data you supply. So I would not trust it. Second, you went to a doctor what did the doctor tell you? I would trust the word of a doctor who physically examined you, especially one who knows your history over an anonymous Q&A site.
But, it is definitely a fact that it might take several months after stopping birth control meds for your body to adjust. Especially when having taken them for for 10 years.

As the others have said, you hit the nail on the head. Once you stop taking the pill it can take upwards of 3 months for your period to regulate itself. Many doctors do not suggest trying to get pregnant until 3 months after stopping the pill.
For now, since you are trying to conceive, start taking prenatal vitamins, high in folic acid. If you're a smoker, quit smoking. No more alcohol. Eat healthy, exercise, and start preparing your body for a new life.
It can take 6 months to a year for a healthy couple to get pregnant once they start actively trying. Instead of relying on apps to tell you when you're ovulating, start taking basal temperature readings to determine ovulation, or buy ovulation testing kits.
Treat yourself well, and give it time.
Sending baby dust your way. :)
