Hi.

I would like to remove a cupboard in my kitchen but am not sure if it is safe to do so. I live on the middle floor in a block of three. The cupboard is in the corner of the room and is brick. The floors are concrete. How do I tell if this is a supporting wall? I only wonder because a plumber once told me it was! The cupboard is 96cm by 54cm. I don't know if this makes any difference! Lol

No way to know without being there. You could call a engineer but that would cost$$$.

The Best Way To Know Is To Find You Ceiling Joist. If They Are Running In The Same Dirrection As Your Wall You Want To Remove Then It Is Not A Load Berring Wall. If Joist Run On Top Of This Wall Then It Has A Load On It And You Can't Remove This Wall With Out Additioial Support.
You'd Need To Get A Contractor Out There To Make Sure , Hope This Helps Nichols Trim And Carpentry
