Hi I had intercourse with my boyfriend on the 27th of November, during which he inserted his penis inside for about 1 minute during foreplay, he may have released some pre-ejaculate during this time. He ejaculated only about 15 minutes after. As I was paranoid, I took the EllaOne morning after pill about 12 hours later.

My last period was on the 18th of November and 24th of October. I am currently late for my next period by a week and a little more. I took two pregnancy tests and both tested to be negative. I would like to enquire if there is still a possibility I am pregnant, or should I wait till my next period arrives?

Why do both of you have some aversion to using actual Birth control? And incidentally.. that's not foreplay.. thats actually having sex.

Of course you had sex so it is possible. You have to wait and see now. Adult games have adult consequences. The morning after pill isn't birth control, and it isn't 100% effective.

You had sex, not foreplay, once the penis goes in, even for a few seconds it is sex.

Next yes you could be pregnant. But, had you read the warnings on the morning after pill, (they are lots of warnings about side effects) one of them is that it can make your next cycle late or even cause you to miss it.

Also you are testing too early, you should be about 2 week late to start testing.
So wait a week and test again, (in the morning with the first urine of the day)
If still negative, just wait till your next cycle is due.

The morning after pill is very difficult on your body. One of the listed side effects is that it can throw off your period. You could miss it entirely, it could be early, it could be late, you could have heavier bleeding, or lighter bleeding, you could have more than one period in a month, you could have a longer period, or a shorter one, and the list goes on. These side effects will be discussed in length on the pamphlet that should have come with the pills.

Now, could you be pregnant? Yes. No form of birth control is 100%, including the morning after pill. A negative pregnancy test only a week after a late period, is not always accurate. It's a bit soon to test.

Because you took the morning after pill, I'd wait and see what happens with your next period. If you miss it, and haven't had a period before then, then take another pregnancy test. Make sure to use first morning urine when you test, it's more accurate.

If that test is also negative, then time to see your doctor for a more accurate blood test, or ultrasound.

The only way to guarantee that you not become pregnant, is to not have sex. But, if you're going to continue playing these games before you're ready to have a baby, you should at least start using birth control. The best combo is the pill or shot, and a condom. Still not 100%, but it's better than what you're doing.

Good luck.
