Hello,

I just installed 4 new radiators in my basement to a water system the problem is only one radiator on the left side of the basement works (get hot). The other 3 on the right side does not?

I did try to bleed them, I noticed that there were no air coming out only water, and they eventually do get hot after bleeding a few gallon of water, but then they'll return to being cold? Can anyone advise?

Did you do the calculations to know if your system was capable of supporting additional radiators? What is the output capacity of your current system and what type is it? Do you already have radiators on this system? What size are they, and what size are the new installed radiators?

Did you drain your system before you added the new radiators? Did you check your return lines for flow? More details please.

Bleed 5 gallons of water from each radiator... see if any air shows up then. My bet is that you are air locked somewhere.

Looks like water circulation is not working properly. In addition to bleeding each radiator separately, try to bleed the line at the pump - which is the end of the run.

Preach,
Column style radiators will not work if connected in a series loop; a venturi or scoop tee system will work - if the radiators are connected from above two scoop tees are required for each radiator. A two pipe system was used to connect radiators in the old days - reverse return piping helped balance the flow...
