My mom is going to the island to get a bone scan where they inject dye into her vain, now the test is supposed to take 2 days because she isn't supposed to move for 2 or 4 hours after, now she went to the ministry to ask if they would help with gas or a hotel but instead they waited until the last day phone up the hosptial and got it changed so that now they don't have to help out with anything because my mom will be out of the hosptail in a few hours, so should my mother be getting 2 dye injections in 5 hours or should she be doing it in 2 days to let the first dye treament flush out of her system

First a hospital would not legally talk to a third party on the phone (unless you mom signed papers at hospital) about her treatment, Next the hospital does not change any of its treatment, only a doctor can change the testing.

I personally (although not a doctor) know of any two day bone scan, I have done scans with dye and was out of the hospital the same day always.
