You did not say what kind of unit you have: side-by-side, freezer on top, or bottom freezer. Anyway, you will have to remove the cover to the freezer after unplugging unit. Then wash out drain pan with hot, soapy water, and blow out with hose nozzle. Then pull out from wall and remove rear cover so you can clean the coils, condenser fan blades, and drain pan with spray soap and a hose nozzle. Wash out well and use a wet-vac to get water up. When I have a hand truck handy I would always load the unit on it and take it outside and wash it all out from top to bottom with bleach and water. It's the best way to get it like new again. Probably, the drain is gunked up with food and dirt, plus the coils are dirty keeping it from getting cold enough to make ice. It will also burn up the compressor, which if dirty voids the warranty. I usually find peas or something like that in the drains. Clean it all out well because a dirty unit will burn up the compressor quickly. You should do this at least once a year and every six months if you have a dog or a cat in the house. You should test parts with a meter before blindly changing parts or you will just make more problems.

Are you certain your turned the water valve back to ON?

Yes, this is a side by side refrigerator. I replaced the Water Inlet valve, and the ice maker unit inside the freezer. I can get water to dispense out of the door, but I can't get any water to the ice maker to make ice.

Did you check the micro-switch inside the ice maker? You can manually press the switch to see if it opens the water valve. If it works when you manually trip it then it needs to be adjusted. If it does not do anything then you need a new switch.

I replaced the ice maker as well as the water inlet valve. Where would the micro switch on the ice maker be located, and do I need to remove it from the freezer to adjust it?

If you replaced the ice maker then you replaced the microswitch, too. It sounds like the coils are dirty. Check the coils and the fan blades for dirt, and make sure the rear cover is in place. Check the temperature in the freezer. It should be -20°F to 0°F. If all of that checks out then check the continuity from the plug on the ice maker to the power and the water valves. You will have to remove the ice maker to check this and check from the power plug prongs to the little receptacle in the freezer for hot, ground, and neutral and from water valve plug to freezer for water valve wire. You have four wires-one hot wire, one neutral (white), one ground (green), and one to the water valve. The water valve gets its neutral from a connection at the bottom of the unit. I gave you a link to download a wiring diagram of the ice maker.
