I needed to move my shower drain 2 inches and had to remove the existing 2" PVC. I put together this setup but, being a novice I wasn't 100% comfortable gluing it together. I was looking for expert advice to validate this design. The current drain inlet is where it needs to be located. I'm not working with much space. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/E_nwzQp5-be6nIS4dtQEGzaaG_bVdIa7n6FzoFH539W5xcIHwrqKi4TNoDv IOTmoCXeyP7z6NupelVhlYLEuDfxoW4rQ-LB1Chb8gZTHHnaMYjDt_cj4wN0btis27Lp3Txpbm5j1QPfdP_I y6jXPqulOVq2PA1EB4W4kKewmbUH6Ld2by7FBNc2OnQIgM0RYb N8bSRF3YKu4HXzrGbF5AUMg_1RCaYsEG8RNY1jcpCiZZyctpxe 8nOoEHX59zPOP0qHPfA7pQPJCC6Y5sRFpRGCXlb7fIzN91NtOv 8_jsgAqTFX94o7PvrA1joLyeMLfFFCM2Wyom_xlcKyun2PsCy-r74h5DtddPmKiYBoybuaaBN2Ltgcd2iLgpTGzvLyfvPKKK5Xbm huJgxnIHpJGseEntTXwuLH82Jeca7LoIcXbaPG77C2twkXdxgg VuIG6Gu7-2x3ysT1Y_42dGv6tY5FJu96ZZcvjGgTC32YWMyux5NwSA04efI tjmeq9-wPWNy7qZ7dk1xE_-4K1-vZjVPiaBWXpqEgbOyW76JNnvIo=w338-h600-no

Photos didn't post. Try again...

Is that trap plastic or rigid pipe ?

Back to you

Milo,

The pipes are 2" PVC pipes, and ultimately connect to a copper line. Hopefully the pictures show up this time!4798647987 I know this trap is unconventional to say the least, but I was curious if I could get by with this "design" (and I use the word design loosely!)

Thanks,
John

"Attachment is no longer available"... Anyway, if the difference between old and new location is only 2" than use one Street 45 and one regular 45 - both installed on top of each other and on vertical pipe between drain head and trap. That should do.

Hope that explains
