It depends on your other medication conditions, any allergy to medication, and of course which antibiotic (there are many types)

So assuming that is really your issue, and of course a doctor has to prescribe the medication anyway (in most parts of the world) your doctor would give you the proper one.

Urinary tract infection, or UTI.
You shouldn't take random antibiotics you have lying around, or left over, if that's what you mean.
For one thing, it's very important to take the full course of what you are prescribed. If you don't, it can come right back, and you can develop resistance to the drug.
For another thing, despite most UTIs being pretty basic and easily treatable, they can turn into very serious conditions.

Yes, but only under the supervision of your medical doctor. Taking random antibiotics without proper treatment procedures could harm you as well as help create antibiotic resistant bacteria. Please see your doctor before starting any course of antibiotics.
