Based ony lmp I should be 12 weeks and went to er and had ultrasound and that said I am only 5 weeks. How can that be? Er Dr did not explain anything and told me to see my ob.

Is there a reason you are concerned about the apparent time frame of the conception?

Because I'm afraid because I had a mc in January at 12 weeks. And it is working me. I have appt with ob on Thur to see what she says.

Try not to stress over it. Negative thoughts tend to be counter productive and positive thoughts tend to be beneficial.

The main thought, is that ER doctors are trained to do emergancy, like gun shots, car wrecks and an ER is about the last place you go (or should go) for a pregnancy test or a ltrasound.

Also you could be off on you may have missed or had a light period (or skipped one) which is not uncommon and got pregnant the next month.

What made you go to the ER? To be that far off from what you expected, you either became pregnant much later then you thought, or unfortunately, it could be that your pregnancy did not progress beyond that point.

Went to the er because I was having severe pain in by lower back and I couldn't ever hardly walk and my heart rate was up real high it was hard to breathe and I was having brown discharge. I was afraid that I was having a mc and my ob said go to er. I had more testing tree days later and I'll get results on Thursday.

Are you getting blood test results back on Thursday? If so, they will compare it to a previous blood draw to see how the numbers change. A later ultrasound will also provide much information. Hope it all goes well for you.

Yes I get my results on Thursday and they will explain all to me . I just was worried and didn't have any explanation. All advice has been very encouraging. Thanks to all.

Dr didn't show for my appt today. So I have to wait for my results until Dec.2. They rescheduled on me. Sucks but I just pray all is well.
