Someone sponsor a visa but threathing to cancel it after the persone received it for 5 years is this possible?

They can stop being your sponsor at any time, for any reason. Because as long as they are, they have a financial liability that goes with it. And that in many cases can affect your status.

They can do it in writing on proper forms required by Immigration. They can not do it, merely by a phone call.
