Hey guys,

I have been getting to know this lad for absolutely ages now, its generally gone well, but I'm scared of commitment and so far we haven't even been on a date in the 10 months of getting to know each other. Apparently he really likes me, but I'm not sure I have thoughts going over and over about stuff I've heard about his previous relationships, the way he can be in work as appose to the way he ALWAYS is with me, and deep down I don't know whether its all about sex and image?
I can't decide whether to take a chance or not?
The other thing is, I have noticed he is very pally with my best friend, but id understand if they talked about me, but they don't. Obviously he doesn't treat her the way he treats me and all the other signs are there that he likes me, but I read online that becoming really friendly with your mates is another sign he is into you, but I find that hard to understand?
Please help I'm in such a dilemmna

You have been getting to know him for 10 months... so I guess you feel comfortable with him, whu don't you talk to him!

The only way you can answer any of your questions is to talk to him, ask him on a date (this doesn't mean you are committed to anything except a night out) talk to him, ask him how he feels, then talk to him some more.

The only way to find out is to jump in!
