I picked up a repo mobile home maybe 15 years ago and paid it off through a mortgage company that is no help ! The Lady I had a contract with is no where to be found or maybe even passed away. The Mortgage company knows I have paid for it but the title has to go to the person I cant find. So Im stuck. I cant afford a Lawyer if find this person and because of the privace law they the mortgage company is no help.
Can I request a lost title if so how do I do that ?

Laws vary by state. Some mobile homes go through DMV, and you SOMETIMES can apply for lost title, depending on the age, which you either have to find on the plaque on the home or get in writing from the manufacturer, enough to prove to the state.
Homes without title usually don't sell because of this. Sorry you didn't know this.

First a title is not lost, the mobile home loan company has it, (or at least a copy of it) and they will make it paid, and they should file it with the DMV in most places showing that the title is now clear. (the loan company does not issue a title) What the lady, should have done, when you bought it, was to assign the title to you, and you file it with a lien at the DMV.
