So I work at a grocery store I work in one department he I think is like a grocery clerk in pretty sure we work opposite shifts so I don't see him much but when I see him he's always striking up a conversation with me he's really cute and I want to get to know him so I want to know how to get his number... With out making it weird

The adult thing to do is ask him... doing anything else is what's weird. The smart thing however is NOT ever date anyone you work with. Imagine having to see and work with someone you had a bad breakup with every day?

What do you know about him other than you like him?

You do not know his job, do not know exactly what shift ? How much have you talked?
Have you asked him for his number, or even Facebook into?

Adults that are interested in each other, merely offer or ask for telephone numbers.

Next time that he strikes up a conversation, tell him that you'd like to continue your conversations, and ask him how to best contact him.

Ask him if he is on Facebook or just ask him for his number so you can continue to talk. You want to also make sure he is not married or dating someone.

I totally agree, finding out if he is available would come before you get all carried away with this workplace attraction. That's what those early conversations should be about. I like the Facebook suggestion rather than giving him your number, since you know so little about him.
