How is it fair that a mother who has sole physical custody and joint legal, with generous visitation to father, still have to pay him child support?
I have always paid entire housing costs for myself and son; clothes, food, health, vision/dental, etc. etc. while for the past 11-years he continues to work part-time and live with parents? His income was imputed at min. wage, which didn't help me at all... is there any CA law or Supreme Court ruling, I may use to have the court reduce child support?

See what guys in the same situation go through?

Not saying its fair... but it at least is applied equally without regard to gender. Yes there ARE lots of women that do exactly what he is doing and for the very same reasons. I've known many that admitted it.

I have seen it over and over again in California. If you are more educated than the father, then you have higher earning potential. Have you tried the District attorney's office? I'm not sure what county you're from, but in Los Angeles County, there's an office dedicated to child support.

This is the law. It is based on standard charts. The time with each parent, and the money is figured. I had custody of my son, and paid his mom child support, this is very common

with generous visitation to father,

That is the key here. If the father has "generous visitation" that means he has the children frequently. While the children are in his care, he has to provide for them. Since his income is minimal, the other parent is being called on to help him financially when he is caring for the children.

In CA specifically, this is done mostly by formulas in the law.
