I don't have yellow or green I just have gray and black can these be used

Can you take a picture of the back panel of your TV and post it? I have no clue what gray and black mean.

I can tell you that you have to match outputs to inputs. You have to use a compatible input to the output or use a converter (if available). There are 4 basic types: Composite: which uses red, white and yellow RCA plugs, Component which uses Blue, Green and Yellow RCA Plugs, S-Video; which uses a single round plug and HDMI which uses a beveled rectangular jack. Most new devices use HDMI.
